If it gets delayed I think that's basically it for major Microsoft projects and AAA. They've more or less proven they can't do anything and can't release anything. GTAVI is also another game that was in dev hell forever, and only got out of it because of how big GTA Online is and they'd know they'd recoup the money.
It's all so insanely inefficient and stupid. I suspect we need major course correction. There may simply be too many god damn game studios and too many games all competing for the same slice of the pie.
