In Strange Fake, Caster suggests to his master that they should recruit Shirou to help them fight Gilgamesh because he's heard that Shirou's magecraft allows him to infinitely create and copy noble phantasms. Caster's master turns him down though and says that someone like Shirou could never beat Gilgamesh because the copies Shirou makes are fake and weaker.
That's some dramatic irony right there.
