One thing Im thankful for is that YGO is really good about ripping the art from cards and giving us good quality images to make sense of.
She definitely doesn't show as much skin but her boobs are clearly visible if you get a better look at the art as well as a little bit of thigh.
The cannon is similar to snapcaster's blue tube thing, it's more a conceptual reference as both BRS and snapcaster have arm cannons.
The smile is most certainly an exception but Miku is a seperate character though.

I couldn't say. I've never looked into it. It wouldn't surprise me if there's some sort of through line though.
