First one really wasn't. People killed most monsters indoors because they didn't know if they had to return to the same room or corridor for some puzzle or a key. 99,9999% of players started running when they first stepped outside in Otherworld. First time around everyone was running in panic because its too dark, monsters are buffed and theres monsters everywhere. Even if you would go through meticulously and slowly killing everything, its a net negative for your resources because the Otherworld outside has very little resources.
