I kinda liked APHO combat. Especially after Moon Ring, playing hypercarry Mei was almost like playing NS type of dopamine shit.
You wanna know what's actually the worst gameplay in this game? LoA. Fuck that stupid ring type and fuck your uninteractive cutscene spam.
World Star can feel good with resonance procs, Wheel of Destiny is great (Thelema is the best with her varied combos) and Rite of Oblivion is just a shittier WoD (granted we only really have Vita as the sole DPS).
The idea of 'super QTEs' is great but LoA is not it.
Also, as cool and flashy Helia's new suit is, it's pretty fucking boring to play. You have 0 variations, you cannot cut anything short or you lose all your damage, AND if you do commit to the entire moveset, you can end up dealing too much damage and never use your finisher at all. It's so inflexible it's irritating. I guess that kind of matches who Helia is.
