I get you, I really do, but I think you are letting that sense of betrayal overwhelm your reason a bit here. Crochet and Harrison could be a pretty darn devastating 1-2 rotation punch for years to come and Tibbs is a very promising bat, plus opening up $30 million a year in payroll for the next decade gives the team a lot of ammo for addressing needs other than DH (which Yoshida can competently cover for the near-term).
