This whole fiasco is a test from God, but it's not a shit test like how woman test you— no, God will surely reward us for our trouble!
So take heart and stick close to God by prayer (by the Jesus prayer, "Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me/us") in these times
God will reward us? Who says so? Why, not just the saints, but God Himself assures us of this in Holy Scripture by the lives of Joseph the dreamer, Job, and king David. All went through hardships and tests, and all came out richer than before by staying strong in their faith and love for God.
However, since many of you don't recognize these, i bring forth the philosopher Aristotle, who founded the philosophy of teleology. By observing the natural world, man is able to clearly distinguish between causes and effects; man is also able to correctly link the causes to one another, being able to trace each cause to another cause. Not only that, but man is keen to notice that anything that begins does so with a specific end goal, purpose or 'telos' in mind. As such, from a purely observational and logical standpoint, man can know that anything that begins has a purpose, but who says this is to be a reward?
This is why philosophy is not enough, though one can reason out certain truths about reality, they will never reach the full truth by themselves. Yet man's mind can reason back to the answer for his search: the divine. With pure reasoning alone, man is able to deduce the existence of the divine. This leads man to search more, and he will inevitably stumble upon the Church of Christ, which bears the fullness of the truth:
The telos for these trials and tests is to save our soul and to profit us spiritually, bringing us closer to God and to eternal life. However, on account of free will man is given the opportunity to spit back in God's face and attempts at saving him.
So, when i say that God will reward us for enduring this trial i mean to say that this trial is itself an opportunity for us to earn great spiritual profit for ourselves. As such, beloved shoggas, be strong, forgiving, righteous and courageous. These attributes will allow us to persevere! Speak what is right and do not compromise on what is good. God will surely deliver us.
Also this is literally on topic
I recommend reading the writings of the (orthodox) saints on whatever bothers you in the moment, it will definitely help you
