A lot of SOG units adopted the SCAR platform in both 556 and 308. I saw it personally with MARSOC (I worked in logistics and saw a lot of SCAR platform rifles going to force recon, combat engineers, and operational operators that operated operationally in MARSOC)

Just look up the Mk17 Mod0 program for MARSOC. Not blaming you though. A lot of guys don't know that Marines love the SCAR
