HOLY BASED. My connection to him is somewhat similar to what you're loosely describing here, so I'm absolutely thrilled to hear this. It's not just simping for Discord, but being Chaos-pilled at your very core. It's not about emulating Discord, but being this sort of playfully morbid outsider who may or may not share mannerisms with him. It's pretty much a way of life. Now if only the Erisfag were to show up.

In some way, Discord is like an avatar for my own life force that had been buried under layers upon layers of pain and disillusionment, so when I see Discord and love him unconditionally for being the amazing trainwreck he is, it's simultaneously a proxy for loving myself as well. The embracing of Chaos is the embracing of Life: Setbacks are challenges, shit luck is poetic, and I can vividly picture a certain Noodle intently watching my performance when faced with such audacious inconvenience.

It's complicated and I'm half-asleep, so I can't explain myself more intelligently right now. I just really love this flawed, frustrating and paradoxical old fool so damn much.
