Yes but if this is done competently it works out better for everyone because you're literally never in anyone's way. I break road rules while cycling constantly, but it's only ever to ensure maximum efficiency regarding traffic. It's how I realized that most drivers are simply angry at the world because they rage the hardest when you do something to avoid them. They absolutely crave negative cyclist interactions, it's what gets them through their commute.
