Trixie wasn't, quite literally her backstory has always been that she was nice but Twilight and her class ridiculed her, specifically her mother's cooking, and she swore revenge. Literally even DoTS Brings up that she was avoidant to friends but could have easily had them and was highly charismatic, while older episodes show her grand empathy toward Twilight even masking it as more of her rivalry. Trixie in her first appearance was literally just trying to face her rival, no matter how much twi had changed, and that same day openly spoke of just what her situation was in comparison to twilight and why she was gonna kill herself.
