>Unfortunately I only watch shows that appeal to me not the kiddieslop you're obsessed with.
I am willing to bet the stuff you watch is even more embarrassing.

>LMFAO, so anime isnt anime because its englished dubbed?
Honestly yeah.
I wouldn't exactly consider Yu-Gi-Oh, Dragon Ball, Pokemon, or Ghost Stories as anime in their English dubs.
But English vtubers are not "English dubs". They're original western creations playing off of Eastern aesthetics- hence the CV and DMC comparison.
Nobody who actually watches anime would call Castlevania, Devil May Cry, Avatar The Last Airbender, Code Lyoko, etc. anime. There was even months of retarded debate over if the Scott Pilgrim ONA could be called anime despite it actually being animated by a Japanese studio.
If Vtubing was considered on the same criteria, then most of it wouldn't actually be anime related- it'd be /co/ related.

>Mario isnt? Zelda isnt? Fucking pokemon isnt Japanese? How about Smash you fucking buffoon?
Your mastery over the English language aside, not really.
All of those games (Smash aside for obvious reasons) are intensely and heavily localized to be indistinguishable from Western products. Unless people start discussing the original Japanese releases and using Japanese names (Pokemon especially), they are, in effect, Western products.
You wouldn't take someone discussing Kinnikuman seriously if they started talking about the "Galactic Grand Slam" and the big bad boys from outer space, or if someone started asking about why Tien didn't grow his arm back in Dragon Ball. Same shit here.

/pol/ also proves this.
Most anime boards on the site are absurdly dead. Half of /a/'s catalog stays up for a full week before archiving at sub-200 posts, and that's the most popular one of the bunch.
/v/ and /pol/ are distinctly political, culture war aligned boards. They are by far the most popular boards on the site.
