Sure, and of course I took a lot of them, though I guess coolness is in the eye of the beholder. Here's a shot of Maemiya. I felt it most strongly here, but photos really don't capture the essence of the place at all.

Incredible place, really. Hard to put my finger exactly on what it is with the place that does not invoke the kami, haha. The fact that it has so much nature there maybe makes the people more grounded I suppose. I suppose it also has more relaxed pace of life compared to something like Tokyo, and it's not suffering from overtourism either. Just incredible place.
