After following the Wolfsmund daily I have to say it's incredibly satisfying to watch a smug schemer get fucked. As the deuteragonist it would've been easy for the author to just let Crimson get away with all his atrocities, but he still makes room for Crimson's plans to go wrong, and it's a treat to see. The mistakes also only occur with just enough moderation to not turn Crimson into a joke, while still reminding you that you should be cheering when Ragna hammers a silver stake up his ass at the end of the story.
