OK but that doesn't solve the rest of the problems. How are we supposed to make better sex, better women, better work, better socializing? Making vidya better won't solve the problems at the core but merely provide more escapist routes from the rest of things being shitty.
If anything I'd argue that we need shitty games so people stop playing them and try to improve life itself. Pic unrelated, it's a great game.
