I've spent over an hour just looking through the libraries of each Jarl to try and find this ebony smithing tome
>Need to have the appropriate smithing level + read a smithing instruction tome to unlock craftable gear (for example, level 50 smithing + read "About Elven Craftsmanship" to unlock Elven Armor
>I've done this with Steel Plate armor, Scale Armor, Dwarven Armor, Elven Armor, Orcish Armor, Malachite Armor
>The last 4 books (Ebony, Daedric, Dragonbone, and Shivering Isles) don't seem to spawn naturally and have fixed spawn locations

So far I've checked:
>Winterhold college library
>Winterhold library
>The libraries and alchemy labs of every jarl (gotten a few daedra hearts and black soul gems stealing from these guys)
>Jorrvaskr / house gray mane
>Skaal Village + Redoran Mine
>One apocypha black book (I know I can find it here, but the enemies all one shot me)
I still have a few more ideas. Modlist devs are really making me work for this perk.
