Lycaon engine is garbage even for Lycaon because it only enhance basic attack.
Usable for Qingyi and Trigger, but bad for everybody else.
The cheaper A-rank alternatives are outright better.
Koleda engine is cool.
Makes Jufufu easier to build.
Strong option for Lycaon, Ligter, Koleda.
But it has same problem as above, the A-rank engines like Fossil Core and Steam Oven are good and some situations better.
Rina engine, if you can collect 3 of them, is best in slot for Yuzuha she enables perfect uptime on it. That's noteworthy.
But the problem is the cheaper Lucy engine is almost as good. Within 1% of 3-star Rina engine.
Within 7% of 5-star Rina engine. Most would say: Not worth it.
Collecting 5 of these is a long journey and labour of love for the upmost Yuzuhafags.
Fusion Compiler has been upgraded, it's now far more powerful against Miasma content.
It's Miyabi's #1 supreme copeball.
If you are Miyabifag and don't have her sig (I don't blame you, her sig can cost up to 140 rolls), you will definitely want as many of these as possible for Miyabi.
Outside of Miyabi, it can be a hard sell though.
Vivian's Best cope engine is the Weeping Gemini. The other Anomaly agents also cope well with Weeping Gemini.
Nekomata engine is really good for Nekomata and Corin. It's a labour of love if you want to pamper those 2.
Soldier 11's engine is sort of universally good for all attackers.
I understand people who want to merge 5-star Rina engine for Yuzuha.
And those who want to merge 5-star Fusion Compiler for Miyabi.
And I even understand those who want to 5-star Nekomata's engine for Nekomata.
But for Brimstone it's best to keep them 1-star and share them to your favorite Attackers.
