People really need to be careful with this shit. It's made of old diatoms, a single celled protist algae that has an exterior made of ridiculously thin glass. When a diatom dies their glass exterior stays around, usually shattering and breaking apart.
You are essentially sprinkling inconceivably small and sharp shards of glass.
