I've seen pics of Iraqis with West-German parkas and web gear, but equipped with AKM's, while seeing Iranians who had to stuff G3 mags into US M1956 webgear. Also China giving new-production Type-69 export tanks to Iraq, while dumping their old, used domestic Type-59's on Iran.

It was a fascinating shitshow of mismatched gear.
