Cell finally stops playing bystander, his power surging up again, this time even higher than before as a sparking aura flares up around him. Without a word, he appears next to Goku, holding his hand forward and lending energy to Goku’s flaming sphere. Goku’s surprised, but just nods, holding his own hand forward. The pair let out a mighty yell, and send as much power as they can into the attack, Goku’s hair taking on a flame-like state for a brief moment, finally sending the sphere down on Broly.
He’s sent flying across the landscape for kilometers, until finally the attack erupts into a pillar of flame that reaches up toward the heavens. Everyone takes a moment to catch their breaths. Goku looks at Cell and chuckles. “Ehehe, thanks! …Hey has that always been on your forehead?”
Before he can answer though, Vegeta calls out, “Kakarot, focus! Don’t make the same mistake you did last time! Broly isn’t dead yet!”
As if on cue, Broly’s Ki rises up again, breaking the pillar of flames. It… feels like he’s somehow only growing STRONGER too. Damn it! “Goku, any other ideas?” you ask.
He looks forward tensely, stating, “…I might have one, but…”
‘Momma Bird to Ghost Pepper, we’re here! Over!’
Two new Ki signatures appear near you all, one of them immediately familiar. Maple, with a pink Kai woman beside her. “Hoo boy, this isn’t a timeline I’m used to seeing get involved with THIS kind of mess.” the Kai lady comments. She then looks at Trunks with narrowed eyes, adding, “Probably should revise that.”
“Supreme Kai of Time?” Gohan questions in surprise, catching the attention of everyone else.
Trunks gulps. “Oh. So that’s how badly I messed up.”
She waves. “Hey Gohan! I have a few people we’re gathering up just in case, but I came here to assess the situation personally.” Looking in the direction of the still powering up Broly, she adds, “Looks like this might be needed immediately though…” she then… takes off her earrings? “Listen up! I need two of you to put these on! One person on the left ear, one person on the right ear!”
Cell turns toward her with a confused stare. “…I’m sorry, what? You’re trying to get one of us to wear earrings?” He then winces like something’s yelling in his… ear… hole thing, rubbing his forehead again.
She proudly proclaims. “Yep! If you do, it’ll allow you to combine into a powerful warrior with almost unparalleled potential! Now who’s it gonna be?”
