If your coffee tastes bad you’re likely making it wrong. A typical mistake is not using enough grounds so you get an overextraction of the coffee. But your grind size etc. also needs to be tuned to your coffee making method and will affect the final product along with over or under steeping. You can also cope by buying expensive (read: overpriced) coffee like BRCC, but I just make good tasting coffee by brewing cheap coffee competently so I’ve never even tried BRCC.
