Wait, I'm supposed to lose clashes with Thumb Caposault?

Also I found interesting how he was more emotional in that story. Some snark, competing with her with their positions, the narration showing he was actually seeking a challenge and enjoying the thrill when he saw the equivalent of the Sinners approaching with a smirk, his own interactable dialogues further reinforcing he likes a fight he can go on wasting bullets and so on.
I just found odd he regards Dante as someone with esteemed importance. I know there is some system in place that causes the IDs to regard Dante well, but Lei Heng Mersault sees him as someone of super high station to the point his idle lines include questioning and thanking him for spending time with him. Makes me wonder this is actually foreshadowing for who Dante was before losing his head.
