Yes, they have like 20 different varieties of 'christian'.

Televangelists (joel osteen, etc), cults, mormons, etc.

Church in America these days is a method to make money. It's being popularized as well to be made cool among younger crowds that will bring in ponzi scheme type of money.

I know this because my cousin and his entire family is in a religious cult their entire lives. It's crazy how they can't get out of it.. Because they get promoted eventually to a better status in their sect.
