8p dama is probably the only way to catch kamicha off guard. But realistically at Jade, cutting any pinzu here is enough to assume you've hit dama honitsu tenpai, and everyone will fold.
Riichi doesn't even let you escape last with tsumo without kazoe yakuman. But if kamicha riichis to try and take 1st, you can definitely oikake.
