I understand how they feel, they're just incorrect. One's lifestyle choices cannot come under attack if you do a good enough job of keeping them private. Would I like to shout my love from the rooftops? Sure, I think anyone would, but that's vanity and will only draw the ire of those around you. I accept that there are some things society will not accept in my lifetime, I have no choice but to accept it because I'm powerless to change it, and anybody who does not understand this intrinsically when living a fringe lifestyle is deluded and worthy of scorn.
