I wouldn't buy one new but Toyota's insistence of cranking out the same stuff for years and years means there's good parts availability and they've ironed everything out by now. The 2GR is stupid reliable and more than enough power to get to work and merge on the freeway. When Toyota blinked and started chucking turbos into their cars is when stuff started breaking, look no further than the new LX600 and Tundra.
