I think they've been overdoing the whole "bitch" theme. And this is coming from a Panty fag who really likes that sort of thing. They're leaning so heavily into it that it almost feels like a form of flanderization, even for Panty. I know it's an odd complaint, but it stood out to me from the first episode, and especially after the OP makes a thing out of the cast all holding up the middle finger. Almost like they're going on their memory of the characters rather than how they actually were.
