“You are Alvin’s man, are you not?” Filomena asks. The Adjunct stares at you the way one would an unfamiliar object, seeking to understand how it ticks. “I see my colleague has chosen…an interesting sort.”
>“You’re easy to spot.” You tell Leonora, pointing towards the sceptre at her side. “Not many people walk around with a Hero’s Relic.”
“I suppose Thrysus does give me away.” She chuckles, shaking her head. “It took much convincing for my father to allow me to bring our family’s relic here. But I feel so much confident knowing it is at my side. Of course, that does not mean that it makes me invincible. A lesson that I’m sure Klement discovered the hard way when you defeated him. I’ll have to be on my guard if I find myself up against you, Tristain.”
The way Leonora flutters her eyelashes at you leaves you feeling disconcerted. The Gloucesters were one of the most affluent noble families in Fodlan. Unlike many of their contemporaries, they emerged from the Unification War with very minimal damage. This allowed them to consolidate their power, and they still possessed great influence in the former Leicester territories, even under the reign of Archbishop Byleth. Leonora was the heir to their fortune, and was by all accounts a prodigy in magic, swordsmanship, and above all else, politics.
Leonora had not just inherited her family’s Crest, but also their political savvy. It was said that none of the regional lords of Leicester dared to make a move without the approval of Leonora, and that she had her hand in every major decision made. By all accounts, she was a fair and just lord who treated commoners with respect. But there were also rumors abound that she desired more than her station granted.
>“So, did you stop by just to do some shopping? You should try the pork buns.”
“Perhaps later.” Leonora says, brushing the subject aside. “I’d much rather get to know you better, Tristain. I find it hard to believe that I’m only just hearing of someone with your talents. Rusalka must be hiding you away as their trump card.”
>You shrug your shoulders. “I just don’t get out much, I suppose.” That wasn’t a lie. You didn’t exactly have a thriving social life following Garreg Mach.
“A real shame.” Leonora pouts. “I suppose this must all be quite the adventure for you.”
The woman’s head turns towards the section of the store you’d just come from. As if spotting something that caught her eye, she walks towards the Seraph Robe. Picking it up gently from the rack that held it, she holds it up close.
“Ahh, how beautiful. Morfisian cloth really is like nothing I’ve ever seen. What do you think, Filo?”
“A fine choice.” The female adjunct nod.
“And you, Tristain?” Lenora asks.
>A): It looks good on you.
>B): I think it’s ugly.
>C): Why are you asking me? Do whatever you want.
>D): It’s not your style. Let me pick something else. (LCK Roll: 25% Success)
