Ive never understood the reductionist view that trolls are miserable incels who hate themselves etc etc. Some people are otherwise normal enough in most aspects of life but have a perverse or unusual sense of humor. Granted some trolls are just fucking mean and hateful, but shitposting trolls just enjoy the fun. It does add a little flavor to an otherwise dull experience and at worst prevents this from being a safe space for gooners. Hnnnng, I'm about to cooom, more butthole, and so forth. Sure it can grain on the regular guys but it can also be amusing to lurkers who say nothing but observe each of our thoughts and antics. Thats where I started, then got more vocal over time. I just dont get the frustration, why not embrace the situation and roll with it instead. If someone is fucking around and its annoying, fire something back at them.
