Part 2 was an abrupt tone change from Part 1 and its first chapters were genuineness shit. They tried introducing two members of the new trio in Part 1, but...They showed a fake version of their dynamic based on Kiana and Bronya's delusions. So you start Part 2 with zero familiarity to any character. To top it off, the first two chapters are too verbose and full of exposition, thus why most characters also felt very bland and lacked interesting dynamics. Things only started getting better with Chapter 3 and Vita.
