No older than that tho - first 2 houses we had were 70's dream homes (sunken lounges, interior walls with arched windows, shag pile carpet and all the shit) and both had asbestos fucking everywhere. I literally couldn't hang pictures in our 2nd home because I couldn't drill into the drywall.

But yeah, double exterior brick, tile if you can get it over tin. Budget for aged maintenance tho as well.
