Reminder that modern mages use magic to throw rocks and other physical stuff because it breaks defensive magic more easily, but still not instantly. Fern was able to defend against this without much effort. Your best bet against Frieren is a surprise attack with an anti-material rifle. Once she understands that bullets are just physical objects moving at high speeds you're fucked.
