On June 23, 2025, the Feitian-2 vehicle, developed by Northwestern Polytechnical University, successfully conducted a test flight from a location in northwestern China. The team collected performance data on the variable-structure intake, variable-thrust acceleration, and variable angle-of-attack autonomous flight of the kerosene/hydrogen peroxide rocket and ramjet combined propulsion (RBCC).
