Forgot to mention that Battle Spirit 2 on GBA is also "Digimon Frontier" on the WSC I believe.
>Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth (Vita, PS4, Switch, and PC)
Vita and PS4 versions have different balancing and had pre-order content you can't get anymore. Switch and PC versions backported content from Hacker's Memory and come with the DLC by default. Monster collecting JRPG. Solid game and what saved Digimon in the west, but lots of people don't like the VN-heavy dialogue and lack of a proper Digital World. Game also has some heavy grinding issues if you don't know about PlatinumSukamon, PlatinumNumemon, and how to get TacticianUSBs very early on.
>Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth: Hacker's Memory (Vita, PS4, Switch, and PC)
Sequel/Sidequel to CS. It happens at the exact same time as CS does but it is intended to be played after you finish CS. If you liked CS you will like it, if you didn't like CS you won't like it. Think of it like an expansion pack to CS. All the same issues with CS are there except the Vita and PS4 versions are now in parity with the Complete Edition on Switch and PC.
>Digimon World: Next Order (Vita, PS4, Switch, and PC)
Vita and PS4 versions are the original, Switch and PC versions were released later and have like two quality of life changes added onto them which don't change the game massively. Monster raising game, you have to coordinate raising two Digimon instead of one. Fairly divisive in the fandom but I haven't played it so I can't personally comment. Most people complain about having to juggle two Digimon and the map not being as good as DW1 or Re:Digitize.
>Digimon Survive (Xbone, PS4, Switch, PS4)
VN game that has some SRPG sections here and there. First playthrough forces you into a specific role, NG+ lets you diverge heavily. If you do not like VNs do not get this as it's functionally a season of the anime.
That's basically everything worth mentioning currently. There's Liberation and Time Strangers soon.
