Anyway, arcade design. Games were made to be short, snappy, to the point. A match was fast. You fucking kill the guy in 20 seconds or less if you know what you're doing. But nu-indie party kuso? You have these long drawn out matches that are not even strategic. Street Fighter V was 50 seconds of neutral. Invincible VS, 2xko, insert indie guilty gear clone here, they're just noise. 50 seconds of inescapable combo. That's not engaging. No one wants to see that outside of a twitter combo. No one wants to play that. Eric Chung is not gonna give you a deal.

My people, we're making a game for people that actually play. Not for upvotes from reddit.
