I think the outlander in the Chain Breaker is Lianca, not Xbalanque. Lianca was basically raised by a Dragonlord.

Kukulkan told him how to get in, how to use Iridescent Inscriptions and how to get Xiuhcoatl to kill himself. Dragonlords were overwhelmed by the numbers and the skill humans had in using Phlogiston.
