The first reason is because BM has always been extremely grassroots and counter-culture, it was never meant to be marketable and it's very often made by individual people in their home, it's also very elitist, some bands don't record anything online or play shows and only sell a few hundred cassette tapes. This means that anyone with any views can make BM and no one can really stop them, most BM artists even remain anonymous since it's a big part of the philosophy. Another reason is also because so much of BM, especially the earlier stuff from the 90s, focuses almost entirely or so much on anti-Christianity and paganism/native European religions, it's often a music genre associated with rebellion against Christian squares like the average American evangelical, I know not all BM has those themes but just look at the abundance of Satan themes and the added fact about it being counter culture. Also, it might be true that conservatives are essentially soulless and have complete media illiteracy, the average BM nazi is not like your Shapiros or your Petersons, they're usually rebellious and full of pent up anger, emotions. Most conservatives might as well think that white bread with baloney is high cuisine in terms of culture but BM nazis are more involved than that. I'm a Marxist and listen to a lot of left wing BM but we can't lump those types of nazis with midwest volcel Christian chinlets, nazis actually organize and participate in fight clubs, war even.
