I can live with the two merging but I think the way it was revealed felt very strange

I feel like a single crumb of the name 'Naberius' somewhere in between 1.2 and 5.6 would've gone a long way, especially if it was revealed in the context of the shade of life who was unnamed throughout the entirety of 4.X since these are the types of connections that you're meant to give to the audience rather than suddenly saying 'oh yeah these two are the same' since that just feels as if you either 'forgot' to bring it up or simply made it up on the spot after skimming through your half-a-decade year old notes
