Maybe I just don't like shrimp enough. I liked them when I was a kid but at some point I just stopped craving them. The memes are good at least. I liked eel tempure so much I tried sourcing some locally fished eel here in the states and making some, but the taste just wasn't close. Japanese eels are just built different.
