The thing about fighting is that it IS fun. It's just that its consequences aren't. So if you avoid doing it IRL, that doesn't mean the desire isn't there, it just means you (over)think before you act on instinct. And so you seek out media that lets you experience it second-hand, without the drawbacks. But it doesn't make you "aviolent" or something.
