I think 'extreme escalation and verbal abuse' is the basic definition of mean, friend. I do have a longer fuse and now spend much less of my day seething over various things with my sleep apnea treated and stress levels reduced, and I hope to continue the trend of becoming more peaceable and less abusive over time, but I am both a mean and also an abnormally mean person. I've been a rancid cunt since my late teens; intermittent problems getting along with people has been a part of every age since 17.
