We're already a week into August? That was fast, but the quicker we get to fall, the better. Hope everyone had an okay week. Every few days, there's more and more Halloween stuff popping up and that puts a smile on my face. Already saw a Spirit Halloween preparing to take hold of a vacant building.

Nothing especially big, but pretty busy. Sometimes you just have one of those weeks where every day someone needs help. Helped ma deal with some workers comp crap. They can bullshit her all they want but when big heavy guy calls and gets angry over the phone, suddenly schedules open up and they can make an appointment. How about that? Lending friends my car ramps, picking people up, yadda yadda. One of my cousins came over both for business necessities and just to hang out several times. Always enjoy seeing him, he's one of the older cousins I tended to babysit back then. Now that he's older, we often bond over shared interests and the sentiment of having to deal with a lot of younger siblings alongside our parent's occasional fuck-ups. Always good to lend an ear, and to be heard in return.
