TBF, I believe certain places where they have legalized needle drugs have seen a drastic reduction in drug use, but it needs to be accompanied by a rehabilitation project. For instance I don't think it went well in Portland, OR at all.

I live in one of the most ghetto areas of the USA and I can't walk 10 feet without seeing a used syringe, something needs to be done and the cops won't do shit about the dealers. I think in some situations if you provide a safe place for addicts to go they might be able to get help.
