What i know is that our country was founded by Galician Nobles long before there was a portuguese identity. Centuries later Salazar and Estado Novo created the Lusitanian psyop and most portuguese people nowadays dont know their roots and say we are Lusitanians when thats not true. I dont mind the word as a substitute for Portuguese but we are much more Gallaeci than Lusitani.
