France and Greece signed an alliance deal 2 years ago, around the same time USA made Crete the Japan of Europe with the purchase of Souda Bay. Turks are seen as a rogue state by the Western alliance and deals have already been made like the French-Greek deal. France will likely get a bunch of coastal Anatolian land and build a tourist attraction state like Dubai there.
