BTW, you know the red eyes at the end of the series? It was drawn with the idea it'd be Knuckles, pulling an 'in-the-bushes' glare. Naugus was just one of the other ideas for the reveal before cancellation.
Oh, Sonic Wiki Zone will bury that info and go with the Naugus idea anyway even though it looks nothing like him and makes no sense.
