I don’t want to defend her because there’s something cucked about me doing it. But you can’t really hold this against her. She’s a healthy young woman at the prime of her life. She’s obviously been thinking about marriage for awhile. To deprive herself of it because of her profession is just stupid, nobody is that devoted to their job. I understand people who no longer want to support her. I admit I personally unsubscribed from her (and a couple other vtubers), but I still wish her the best in life and a happy marriage. It’s fine if you’re not interested in her anymore, but to attack her and curse her for the crime of wanting to live a fulfilling life is just wrong. Yeah, sure, she “betrayed” her fans. But at least she was honest about it. I’ve lost track of how many vtubers have been caught fucking a man and were crucified over it. At least Nimi came forward and admitted it before getting caught. You should give her credit for that at least. Again, don’t support her if you don’t want to, you don’t even have to feel happy for her, but attacking her and making her feel bad for her actions just isn’t right. The one takeaway from all this is to just stop being so emotionally invested in celebs. I’m not just talking about Fauna/Nimi or even vtubers or even youtubers in general. I mean everyone you’ve only seen behind a screen. She’s right, we aren’t her friends. Joe Rogan’s fans aren’t his friends. Undertaker’s fans aren’t his friends. These people are entertainers, they sell a product and we buy it. That’s all there is to it
