That's literally what the founding fathers wanted.
The founders actually had a good model for this country. It's been almost completely subverted from a republic to a democracy. If land owning males were still the voting constituency, we wouldn't be where we are now. Besides, they owned slaves, so they obviously didn't believe in the modern notion of equality. The founding fathers definitely weren't expecting hordes of third worlders with incompatible cultural values and no intent to integrate.
