Tokyo is way more walkable. The problem is that China keeps pushing the edges of its urban areas outward, stretching the city limits farther and father which makes it less dense.

They also need to make more bike lanes. At least Jinan has some bike lanes but if you keep watching the video, half of the city is actually full of generic urban stroads. Too bad, I even saw in 9 lane stroad at one point in this video.
