At first I thought I missed stuff but apparently there isn't a whole lot of outsider stuff in the first game. Like he mostly just appears and gives you the empress' heart and your powers, and that's that.
You'd expect there to be some, what's going on stage in the whole process with some more reveals. Yes there were hints but not much.
Didn't play the second one, heard both good and bad but apparently death of the outsider wasn't very good.
